Wanting to Run!!!!!!!

I took this video of Anna Claire last night as well. She wants to run so bad, but always ends up falling down. She did brush her ear against the bench in the kitchen, but the tears only last about 5 seconds and she was up and going again, only much slower this time. (I had to share this video as well bc she is so cute trying to walk so fast)

Painted Toe Nails!!

Kerry, Anna Claire, and I went to Murfreesboro Saturday. I got a pedicure while Anna Claire and Daddy went and exchanged his shoes. Anna Claire frequents the nail salon in Murfreesboro quiet often. She's been going there since she was about a month old with her Granny and myself. The ladies always ask about her if she's not with Granny or myself. They always ask if they can paint her toe nails as well. Anna Claire has never had her toe nails painted, but I have been wanting them painted for some time now. I knew Daddy was very funny about it, so it has never been done. Well, the lady that was doing my pedicure asked where Anna Claire was and when I was going to let them paint her toe nails. I called Kerry and asked if he would bring Anna Claire in the salon when he got done and if she could have her toe nails painted and he agreed. Here's a picture of Anna Claire getting her toe nails painted.

She was very good while Noh was painting her toe nails and she loved them!! We stopped to eat and I went to get her out of her car seat and she had her feet propped up on the back of the seat with her toes spread apart. Her Big Daddy (Cliff) thought it was cute, until he found out she had them done at the salon. He seems to think that when she's 2 she'll be wanting her toes done at the salon all the time. LOL And yes, Anna Claire's toes are the same color as her Mommy's toes!! Hot Pink!!!!

I'm Walking, Yes in Deed.....

Anna Claire took her first steps a few weeks ago. This past week she has started to really master it. She has become confident enough that she would rather walk than crawl. She still crawls, but if she's left in her room alone she will not hesitate to come walking down the hall after me. Here's a video of her walking across the kitchen last night. Once she got to the door she cracked up, but the video cut off before she started laughing.

She's a Winner!!

The judging for Nashville's Most Photogenic Baby Contest was this weekend. The judging and voting took place Friday and Saturday, then the awards ceremony was Sunday. I didn't take my camera, so I have no pictures of the event, but I was able to get the picture that the photographer took of us on stage getting the runner up trophy. I did take pictures once we got home of Anna Claire and her trophies, but I haven't uploaded them yet. That's right, I said TROPHIES!! Anna Claire was in 2 categories, Most Precious and Most Beautiful. She was judged by professional judges and then by the public. There were 63 pictures to choose from, from her photoshoot. We had to only pick 2 out of the 63 pictures and it was tough!!

Here is Anna Claire's Most Precious picture.
In the Most Precious category Anna Claire won Runner Up from the Judges!! She got a little trophy about 5 inches tall that says Runner Up.....

Here is Anna Claire's Most Beautiful picture.

In the Most Beautiful category Anna Claire won

~1st PLACE~

from the public votes!! She got a big trophy about a foot tall, maybe a little taller that says Beautiful Overall Winner. She had OVER 600 votes and only 100 of those votes were from Mommy and Daddy!! She managed over 500 votes without us! I was and still am a very proud Mommy!!

Here's the picture of us getting her Runner Up trophy. She was a little hungry and wouldn't put the bottle down.

I got the CD with all her pictures on it from the photographer that did the contest bc she raised over $100 for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Anna Claire raised over $300 herself being in the contest. That's a lot for such a little girl!!

Here are a few other pictures from the photoshoot.

So Many First's

It seems like everyday Anna Claire has her first time doing something or going somewhere. It is always very exciting, but sad at the same time. She's growing so fast and in just a few short weeks she will be celebrating her 1st Birthday. The past few weeks Anna Claire has taken her first steps alone, gotten her first tooth, rode a walking horse for the first time, rode the lawn mower with her Big Daddy for the first time, gone to the park for the first time, and rode a carousal for the first time. I don't have lawn mower pictures. The park pictures are at home, but here are her and her Daddy on the carousal.

Anna Claire took her first ride in the seed spreader Monday. (I know most babies don't ride in seed spreaders, but you all know who her Daddy is) She loved it!! Her and Daddy went all over the yard and over to the neighbors in it. After seeing how much fun she had I told her Granny that she HAS to have a wagon for her birthday. With no hesitation at all, her Granny ordered her a wagon Tuesday.

Most Photogenic Baby Contest!!

Anna Claire's pictures will be on display at Cool Springs Galleria on April 11th and 12th from 10am to 7pm in the Macy's wing of the mall. If you are in the area please stop in and vote for her!! It is 50 cents per vote and all proceeds go to the Monroe Carell Jr Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She is in 2 categories, beautiful and precious, age group newborn to 11 months. There are 2 winners from each category (a public winner and judges winner) and 2 over all winners as well. They gave us a sheet to take up money for votes, so if you want to help and can't get to the mall at that time, feel free to send the donations to myself or Momma. Momma collected at the horse show a few weeks ago, but we still need more to ensure she's a winner. Of course she's always a winner to me, but this would be so exciting!! We will be going to the mall to turn in what we've collected on April 12th. We go back on April 13th to see if we won!!
Here's the link to the contest if you want to see what it's about.

Being Silly

Since having Anna Claire, our house has become sillier by the day. Kerry was already silly enough, but now we are all 3 silly. Anna Claire is learning more and more each day. She has figured out what laughter is, so now if she does something and you laugh at her she will laugh back and repeat what she was doing. It's hilarious most of the time, until she starts spitting her food at you. I try not to laugh when she does it, but most of the time I end up laughing and then end up with more baby food on my face. It's hard not to laugh at her.
And yes, she has her face pressed up on the screen door. I, of course, laughed so she did it again.

This is just my little Prissy Girl trying to eat the baby powder.

I haven't gotten it on video yet, but Anna Claire took her first unassisted steps on Friday, March 30th!!

First Easter

Anna Claire isn't old enough to understand Easter and the Easter Bunny, but she seemed to enjoy what the Easter Bunny brought her. She also enjoyed the nursery at Church. It was hard for her Daddy to let her go to the nursery, but she has been there before so she was fine. After church he was going to get her from the nursery, but Papa Ern had beat him to it.

I struggled getting her ready for Church bc all she wanted to do was play with her toys from the Easter Bunny.
